BreathableBaby Bumper – Sage Review
May have saved my daughter’s life

Reviewer Comments: I’ve never written a review before but after my horrific experience last night, I felt compelled to. My friend recommended this product before I gave birth so I bought it and installed it a couple of months ago even though my then 2 month old wasn’t moving much. Well now she’s 4 1/2 months and in the last week she’s gotten quite active in her crib. So I did my usual check on her before going to bed last night and there she was, laying at just the right angle with her head turned in just the right way to where she had her face and nose up against the bumper. Even though I knew it was a breathable bumper, my blood ran cold. Thank God she was okay but had I not had this exact product on her crib, the outcome could have been much different. This product is a MUST HAVE, because although you think your baby could never end up in the position mine did, they can! Don’t take the chance, it’s WELL worth the money. Also, we have a sleigh crib and haven’t had any problems at all with installation, etc.

Speedplay Zero Chromoly Road Pedal Review
Great Pedal, but Hard to install

Reviewer Comments: Product: Speedplay Zero Chrome-Moly BlackPrice: [$]Review Score: 4.5 out of 5Being my first time purchasing clipless road biking pedals, I was a little more than nervous dishing out over a hundred dollars for some new pedals. However, after reading about how clipless pedals allow you to pull as well as push while pedaling, which in turn increases the amount of power and torque delivered which makes your riding more efficient. I was very interested. Because it is such a large investment, I wanted to make sure that I got the best bang for my buck. After doing research of the different available pedals, I chose to go with the Speedplay Zero Chrome-Moly Black pedals. I’ve read that they were easy to get into, and out of (a very important feature for me because this is my first time with clipless pedals and have heard many stories of people falling when first trying out a system), and that they were very comfortable to use because of a customizable feature that lets you readjust your feet during riding called ‘float.’ This ‘float’ feature was the kicker for me. In short, this feature allows the reader to slightly rotate their feet during riding and saves the rider from potential injuries. This added health benefit, which is lacking in the majority of other pedals was the major factor that pushed me to purchase this product. I bought it online from Performance Bicycles, [...] Once they arrived, I was very satisfied. To my delight, I am here to write that every positive review I read was right. The pedals took little to no time to learn how to use. I never fell over off the bike while trying to learn how to use them, which I’ve read is a very commonplace occurrence when people buy a new clipless pedal system. The other aspect of the pedals that was very user friendly was the adjustable ‘float’ mechanism that allows me to rotate my foot very slightly during riding. It has proved to be very comfortable and I don’t want to imagine the discomfort that I would’ve felt without this feature using other pedals. However, that is not to say that there are certain aspects of this product that I have found frustrating. The cleat installation process was more involved than I had expected and lead to a couple hours of frustration. Other clipless pedal systems are much easier to install onto your shoes. The thing about this issue is that once I figured out how to install them, it was done and does not affect riding at all, so this turns out to be a minimal downside and is not a good reason to not buy this product. Also, even though this cleat system is different from the more common SPD system, the cleats are still compatible with all the same shoes, which is nice. Overall, I love these pedals. They allow me to be connected to my bike when I ride and make climbing hills much easier on my legs and making accelerating a much easier endeavor. If you are looking to take the leap into using a clipless pedal system for the first time, or if you were thinking of switching your already existing system, I would very strongly recommend trying out the Speedplay Zero clipless pedal system. Pros: Light, Easy to Clip in and out of, similar price to competing products, knee saving customizable ‘float’ mechanismCons: Difficult and confusing to install cleats onto your shoesBottom Line: It’s a great clipless pedaling system. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a set.

Soothsoft Cool Care System Chillow Pak – Original Chillow & ChillowDeluxe w/ 2-way Cooling Review
Cool pillow insert

Reviewer Comments: I love my Chillows. I purchased the pack for my wife and I. I liked it so well I sent my brother and his wife a Chillow pack as a gift. It is very easy to put the water in the first time and then you don’t have to do anything more with it. I slid mine inside my pillow case on top of my pillow. Note – it is not a pillow. It is about a one inch think cooling cushion. It really works and keeps your head cool. No more waking up in the middle of the night with head sweat! My brother used his to help him rest more comfortably when going through chemo. This is a simple but useful product that I would recommend to anyone that has heat issues while resting or sleeping.

REI Ultra Light Jacket – Men’s Review
Passed the hose-down test

Reviewer Comments: I’ve been lucky to have not yet been caught in bad weather with this jacket but I’ve been curious to know how it would do in rain so had my son hose me down. We stood out in the yard and he sprayed up to get “rainfall” on me, then straight at my back, front, and sides. I gave the jacket a good soaking while we stood out in the front yard having too much fun with water for quite a long time. End result: I was completely dry. Good job REI Ultra Light Jacket!

Tennis Tutor Plus Player Tennis Ball Machine Review
Not Impressed

Reviewer Comments: The best I can say at this time is it does throw tennis balls. One of the reasons for the machine was I have recently had rotator cuff surgery. I was looking for a way to recover muscle memory. I know ball machines are not perfect but I was very lucky to get two balls in a row within 10 feet of each other. This was with osilation off, one notch above level evelation and one notch of top spin from center with a speed of 40 mph. Now to be clear. I received this request for comments well before the machine arrived. It has rained all but two days since receiving it. I followed the instructions to a tee but have only used it one time. After the 10 hour breakin period and being able to use new tennis balls (suppose to use old balls the first 10 hours)I hope I like it much more. If not I will have wasted a great deal of limited resources to no avail. Also, it will not fit in the trunk of my car. I must admit it is very good at wearing it’s seatbelt. LOL

Vinturi Wine Aerator Review
An Aerie Little Number

Reviewer Comments: I used this product for the first tine at our monthly “Girls Night In” and it was a BIG hit! My friends and I are big wine fans and we are always looking for ways to get the best taste from the wines we select for our various times together. The fact that we could dive right into our favorite wine without having to let it “breathe” first was a welcome change. Also surprising was how much of a difference it actually made in the taste of the wine. We took a sip by pouring it straight from the bottle and another after being run through the Aerator and WOW! A wonderful taste experience.
I can’t say anything i didn’t like about this product.
Sincerely,
Lori Collins

Teva Pro Karnali Wraptor Sport Sandals – Drain Frame (For Men) Review
Uncomfortable Looks like elf shoes….

Reviewer Comments: Late on night after the River Elves finished their trek down by the swamp papa elf had a great idea for a new durable sandle. He stayed up late drew the plans and sold his little idea to Teva. They sure are durable and look like somthing only the master elf himself could have brainstormed. Comfort you will not find. Wear socks, because those elfs have rugged litte feet. They obviously did not have humans in mind when they came across this.

Gel Free Diapers – Jumbo Pack Review
i also want to love these, but…

Reviewer Comments: i hope that the manufacturers of these diapers will read these reviews and improve their product in the future, because it is a good concept with poor execution. i love that these diapers are gel-free, but as other reviewers have said, they are too big for a normal-size newborn baby (in her first two weeks, my daughter has been between 6lbs 14oz and 7lbs 9oz in weight). because of these reviews, i knew this might be the case before i purchased the diapers, but i wanted to try them anyway. what i did not know about these diapers is that the tabs design is terrible! the tabs themselves are not velcro, but basically a restickable adhesive, so if you don’t fold them back together when removing the diaper, they tend to stick to your baby’s skin. also, the tabs are supposed to adhere to a plastic film across the front, but it doesn’t go all the way across, and the bare space in between will make the tab stick more permanently to that area, so that it is more difficult to remove the diaper. but because the diapers are so big, you have to make the tabs pretty tight around the waist, so the tabs get stuck on the diaper a lot. also, the plastic film is thick and pokes me when i’m trying to hold her close while nursing. if these design flaws were corrected, the diaper would be pretty great. it seems to soak up wet and dirty diapers from a breastfed newborn pretty well, and if you get them tight enough, they dont leak anymore than the regular gel-type. i hate to discourage anyone from using something that is better for new babies, but these diapers need some upgrades before i would be able to recommend them or purchase them again.

ZAPZYT Acne Pack, 1 set Review
Lalalove it!! finally…

Reviewer Comments: ok, so since summer is around the corner, i figured id make a checklist to keep me on track of my goals and what i want to achieve before summer begins. one of the many things on my list was to clear up my skin… i knew that this was probably going to be one of the most challenging things id have to do because i have tried different solutions in the past of which none worked. i tried using every product at the drugstore..along with proactive. none of these products helped..some just made my skin worse and along with normal pimples, i got these small bumps tht werent red or that obvious but still noticeable. this made me so upset that i decided to give up for awhile..now about 3 years later, i still had those bumps so i attempted to clear my skin once again. this time instead of proactive, i bought acnefree..and i cant even tell you how dissapointed i was with this product..it made my skin oilier than usual and made me break out more..i figured my skin was just getting used to a new product so i kept going with it..my skin looked its worse when i finally decided to stop using it..(fyi my skin is not sensitive at all)
so then i decided to go once more and get something else…when i came along zapzyt acne pack..to tell you the truth, i wasnt even hopeful anymore..especially when i read the packaging that said ‘clears skin in 2-3 days or in some cases overnight.’ to my surprise however, the first night i used it, my skin felt so much better, my pores were smaller, my skin felt smooth and i could already feel my acne clearing up..by the second day, my skin was almost fully clear with the small bumps dissappearing aswell! i was hooked..now ive been using it for about 1 week and my skin is completely clear!! i feel so much confidence now and am not afraid to step outside without any makeup on…this really is a breakthrough for me and i will never ever switch back to a different product!
however, i did notice my skin drying up a bit in some places but i didnt mind because inorder for the pimple to heal, it needed to dry up..in this case i just wudnt apply too much of the night cream or would use a oilfree moisturizer after using the night cream
also, im not sure that it will work for everyone..especially those with sensitive skin..but im positive that it will work for people with similiar skin types to my own which is either oily or combination with large pores, mild acne, the once-a-month-painful pimples, and/or many, tiny skin coloured bumps, hopefully this product will work for you, but if you went through a similiar experience with acne like i did..please please try it atleast..it may be the solution! good luck..and hopefully this review will help many!
